By Car
Visitors approaching from the north or the south on the A1 should leave at the A59 exit, and follow the A59 eastbound towards York. Travel for approximately 10 miles, until you reach a staggered crossroad at Poppleton. You will see signs for Northminster Business Park and the Poppleton Garden Centre on the right hand side of the road. Take the right hand road from the A59 (Northfield Lane) and travel for approximately half a mile until you reach the entrance gates to Northminster Business Park on the right hand side of the road. Once you have entered the business park, turn first left and continue to York Bioanalytical Solution's facility on your left (Cedar house).
By Rail
York is a major station on the main East Coast railway line from London King's Cross to Edinburgh Haymarket. Express trains leave to both the north and the south at frequent intervals. The scheduled journey time to London is approximately two hours and Edinburgh is approximately two hours fifteen minutes away.
By Taxi
A journey by taxi from the centre of York, or the railway station, to the Northminster business park will take approximately 15 minutes. Local taxi companies include Ace (01904 638888) and Castle (01904 611511).
By Air
The closest international airport to York Bioanalytical Solutions is Leeds/Bradford Airport (+44 (0)113 250 9696), which is a 45-minute drive from York. It handles a variety of domestic and international flights and offers a 50-minute shuttle service to London's Heathrow Airport.
Manchester International Airport (+44 (0)161 489 3000) is two hours' drive from York. It handles direct flights from a far larger number of international destinations. It also has a frequent and direct rail link to York.
