History

Established in another millennium

The laboratory in York was founded in August 1999 by four experienced bioanalytical scientists. The company was originally located on the York University Science Park, but relocated in June 2002 to a much larger purpose built laboratory facility on the prestigious Northminster Business Park, also in York, UK.

In May 2008 the laboratory in York became part of the Unilabs Group and the two businesses integrated. Although this has no impact on the service level, we can now also offer logistics and biomarker services and have further resources to help invest in the latest technology and continue to grow while maintaining our reputation for quality and delivery.

In October 2011 we opened our discovery and metabolism services laboratories at the Discovery Park in Sandwich, Kent in the UK.  Providing discovery bioanalysis, in vitro ADME and metabolism services to the pharmaceutical and biotech industries.

The company now offers vast experience in both small and large molecule bioanalysis and continues to expand by recruiting experienced quality assurance and scientific staff and adding additional state-of-the-art equipment, such as the Sciex TQ 6500+, Waters Xevo TQ-S and TQ-XS LC-MS/MS systems, MSD, and Hamilton Microlab Star robots.
